Hello, my name is Ashley, the creator of Sympathy for Samael. This site serves as a repository of my thoughts concerning my experiences, specifically those around religion & spirituality.

I was raised in a strict Evangelical Christian household, attended over 300 churches growing up, and spent the first 20 years of my life fervently praying every night, certain that if I failed to pray once, anyone I didn't pray for would surely die and spend forever in a place called Hell.

On this website I will share my stories, and hope that you find common ground in them. Resources are available if you need help; those will continue to grow with an area of focus surrounding Information, Testimony, Books, and other things I've yet to consider.
