Frequently Asked Questions

Do you worship the devil?

I do not worship, nor believe in a literal devil, satan, or lucifer. I believe that we all have the concept of God within us, and the concept of Satan in us. We are both heaven & hell, and create either depending on our mental state. I believe that Religion uses fear to control people, and Satan became a manifestation of that fear.

Why is your page about him then?

Though being sympathetic toward Satan began my story, he is not the whole of it. He was like a loose thread in the sweater. I noticed it one day, pulled the string, and came undone. My page is about challenging what has been demonized, life after fear, and hopefully making someone feel less alone in their struggle for truth.

What religion are you?

I am a disciple of Nature and a Philosopher. Nature has inherent laws, such as life infers death, and death infers life. There is a season for all things. Though I grew up Evangelical Christian, I found cracks in the armor of god, and threw it away. In recent months, I have formally decided to join The Satanic Temple.

What do you think about LGBTQIA+ people?

I love & support the LGBTQIA+ community as part of it myself. Love is the winner, hate is the loser. Love knows no gender, and anyone telling you that your attraction is wrong suppresses their own.

What do you think about women's rights?

I believe women deserve full autonomy — in their bodies, their beliefs, their roles, and their futures. If that position offends someone, they might want to check whether they're following a god or a patriarchy in divine cosplay.

Why do you not discuss other religions?

Christianity is the tradition I came from. It’s the one that shaped my culture, my guilt, and my questions. Though I've studied Islam, Buddhism, Wicca, Paganism, and many others, Christianity is my clearest frame of reference and the one I am most comfortable interacting with. I can speak on others, if the mood takes me.

Why do you "hate" Christianity?

I do not "hate" Christianity, I try not to hate anything. What I do have issues with is how it traditionally oppresses people, and convinces them they are born broken & disenfranchised toward their own body. I strongly oppose the limited mindset it instills in its devout, and I wish more people followed Jesus' actual teachings, not the perversion of faith we see today. As one of my favorite artists, Halsey, sings "I'm tired & angry but somebody should be."

Why do you have to take away someone’s hope?

I have not come to take away someone's hope, but if you come to my page, accept that you may walk away with questions of your own. Religion is often a carrot on a stick. We spend our lives earnestly following it blindly. I believe we should walk by sight & not by faith, that we should hope, and ultimately believe in the miraculous things we can accomplish.

How long were you Christian?

I was raised Christian, my earliest memories are of it, and I began to delve into Occult research around 7th grade. I researched Secret Socieities, Witchcraft, The Inquisitions, and anything considered "Taboo" because of its forbidden nature. I, like Eve, wanted the knowledge of good & evil. I found it exquisite.
