Questions Ask Your Pastor

Ask them only if you’re ready to hear what doesn’t get said.

1. If your God is loving, why did He create a system where most souls end up in eternal torment?

2. If I were born in a different country, with different parents, I’d believe a different god; would I still deserve hell?

3. If God is all-powerful, why was slaughtering His son the only way He could forgive us?

4. Why does your God grant eternal reward to murderers who convert, but eternal damnation to kind people who don’t?

5. If obedience is the highest virtue, what separates your God from a tyrant?

6. Why is questioning doctrine considered rebellion, but enforcing cruelty is called faithfulness?

7. How is divine justice just, if it punishes people for how they were created?

8. Why is the Devil blamed for evil, when it was God who made the rules, the tree, the tempter ; and the punishment?

9. If Satan punishes sinners in Hell, is he not doing God's dirty work?

10. Why is the only unforgivable sin blaspheming the Holy Spirit?

If these questions offend your pastor more than the pain they describe, you’re not the problem.
